Guide for aspiring and experienced models on how to approach a prints-for-time (or time for CD) shoot, and some general notes for models - but not a how to become a model guide.
I am one of not many photographers who offers prints for time (PFT) shoots. Every year I receive many inquiries, yet I can only do a handful of prints for time or time for CD shoots.
Even though you get free photographs from a prints for time shoot, it is not simply a "get your prints free" scheme. It is a co-operation between a photographer and a model in which you, the model, have to take your share of responsibility.
This guide was written for aspiring models who are considering applying for a PFT shoot with me, and it also offers advice to any model at the start of her or his career, be it on a PFT shoot or a paid assignment.
If you are thinking of applying for a PFT shoot with me, I would ask that you read this guide.
Pick a topic from the section index on the left or, much better, read the entire guide. If you then want to apply for a prints for time shoot with me, click here.
